Empty Chair is a well performed, accurate portrayal of the curse of Borderline Personality Disorder. It gives the average person some small insight into the ups and downs in the life of an individual who has the misfortune of being diagnosed with BPD

.Alex Smith, about whose life this production is a portrayal , does an amazing job in telling his story. From his acting to his amazing singing, Alex shows himself to be a gifted performer

.His support cast also performed capably and were able to tell of Alex's BPD from a friend, professional, onlooker's perspective.

Over all, I think watching this production becomes a great lesson in learning how intelligent, capable individuals can survive in this topsy turvy world in spite of their individual idiosyncrasies, mental imaginings and all the other mental ups and downs with which they must live their lives.

Congratulations Alex and the Phoenix Ensemble for a story well told and a job well done.
