Everyone wants to be noticed and valued, especially so a school. We all have the right to have our say and defend ourselves, but it's how we come across and display our feelings and emotions that makes the most impact on others. Just like playing a game of chess, life also in high school is just as similar. It's all about taking chances in life, sometimes feeling trapped, being pushed and pulled in all different directions. Then confusion sets in, and your world is in a dilemma!
Peer pressure gets to all our young ones, and they feel the real struggle to just get through one general year of school, let alone all of them! Then desperately needing the support from their parents.
The few props that were used were enough to set the stage. Their singing and acting talent was reasonably well played out and perfectly rehearsed. There were no costumes, but none were needed, as they were your typical school students. Mayhem in June was a well presented depiction of these tough times that our youth must endure during their school years. I think this is a great performance for families to watch together, so that parents can also grasp a greater knowledge and understanding of what their teens go through at school.
I thoroughly enjoyed it!
