NEW BEENLEIGH STATION

Upgrades planned for the Kuraby to Beenleigh rail line include new stations at Edens Landing, Holmview and Beenleigh.
Transport and Main Roads is proposing to relocate Beenleigh station approximately 650 metres north of it's current location to James and Victoria Streets, near the Town Square and Magistrates Court. This is a change from the original proposed location which was 200 metres south of the existing station.

The new station will feature raised platforms, increased platform coverage, new lifts and pedestrian overpass, a new multi-storey Park 'n' Ride, a new bus station, a safer, and more accessible pedestrian connection to the Town Square.

The new location will allow the existing station to remain open during construction.
