Police have charged a 29-year-old man following a break-and-enter at a Marsden business on Tuesday, August 20
.It will be alleged that at approximately 3.30am, officers were called to a convenience store on Browns Plains Road, where two offenders had used a white Hyundai Tucson to force entry into the business. Upon police arrival, the two offenders ran from the scene, and a short time later, police located a 29-year-old Edens Landing man and took him into custody
.It’s alleged that the Hyundai was reported stolen from Crestmead between Thursday, August 15, and Sunday, August 18.
The 29-year-old Edens Landing man has been charged with one count of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, enter premises and commit indictable offence by break, and obstruct police officer. He has been remanded in custody and is due to reappear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on September 11.
A 28-year-old Marsden woman is also assisting police with their investigation.
