Support is now available for more City of Logan suburbs impacted by last year’s Christmas Day storm.The Australian Government has extended its Disaster Recovery Payment to include the suburbs of Yarrabilba and Holmview .The payment includes $1000 for each eligible adult, and $400 for each eligible child
.Applications can be made through myGov from 2pm on Wednesday, February 14. The extended funding program adds to joint Federal-State financial hardship assistance payments already made to impacted residents in Cedar Creek, Cedar Grove, Cedar Vale, Eagleby, Flagstone, Glenlogan, Jimboomba, Logan Village, Mundoolun, Riverbend, Tamborine, Veresdale and Woodhill. Those in need of claim assistance can call the Australian Government Emergency information line on 180 22 66.
