At a Special General Meeting Life Member badges were presented to Nicolette McMahon and Lisa Hamilton.
To qualify for Life Membership, a BTG member must have demonstrated conspicuous service to the company for at least ten years… though Nicolette and Lisa have put in several more decades each.
Nicolette and Lisa have both been members of BTG since they were teenagers, and have both been involved in all aspects of the theatre over the years, including serving on the management committee.
In recent years, Nicolette has helmed A-Chord choir, keeping the group together through the tumultuous COVID era. Lisa currently serves as the Stage Manager of the annual One Act Play Festival. Both of these portfolios are instrumental in making BTG one of SEQ’s best community organisations.
